Hanoi is located in the Red River Delta in the center of North Vietnam. It is the political and cultural capital of Vietnam. The tropical monsoon climate is divided into the rainy and dry seasons. 

The most distinctive characteristic of Hanoi’s climate is the fluctuations between the cold and hot seasons. Ha Noi has preserved the architectural legacies of its French colonial era and has over 600 pagodas. Tens of hectares of lakes scattered throughout the city.The city romantically enhanced by wide thoroughfares flowing gracefully beneath tall Tamarine trees, the streets are alive with sidewalk entrepreneurs.The center of the city is built around Hoan Kiem Lake.Many traditional handicrafts are also practiced in Hanoi including bronze molding, silver carving, lacquer, and embroidery.
